Liang, Ran, Verita and I went to the Amish Village of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania during August 8 and August 9. We had great fun there. Here is a video tour of the Amish Villiage:

It takes roughly 2 hours to get the Amish Village from DC. We took the farm-house and village tour ($9.25). A friendly local guide leads us to feel the ancient history of this village. The guided tour is 25 minutes but you can enjoy taking photos and shopping inside the village for over 2 hours.The GPS address is:

It is surprising that people in the Amish Village are still keeping old traditions: No cellphones, no Internet, no advanced machines and even NO TAXES!
